The Iran Transportation Organization has announced a 30% increase in freight rates in an official letter. The rate for transporting goods has been adjusted from 5,500 Rials per ton-kilometer to 7,150 Rials.
According to WikiPlast, this change was implemented on June 1, 2024, in the Cargo Management System of transportation companies.
Each year, in May or June, the Iran Transportation Organization announces new freight rates.
